Pre-Sales Engineer (Female)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Pre-Sales Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the networking domain and sound knowledge of Government e-Marketplace (GeM) processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, preparing proposals, designing network solutions, and handling GeM-based tenders and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable networking solutions (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, presentations, and RFP/RFQ responses.
- Manage and update product listings, pricing, and catalogues on the GeM portal.
- Identify and respond to GeM tenders, including documentation, bid preparation, and submission.
- Conduct product demonstrations, POCs (Proof of Concepts), and technical presentations for clients.
- Coordinate with OEMs and distributors for product specifications, pricing, and support.
- Ensure compliance with all GeM policies and procurement guidelines.
- Work closely with the post-sales and project teams for smooth delivery and implementation.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in pre-sales or technical support within a networking/system integration company.
- Hands-on experience with GeM portal operations, including bidding, tendering, and catalog management.
- Strong understanding of networking products and technologies (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Access Points, Structured Cabling, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal writing skills.
- Ability to liaise with government clients and understand public sector procurement processes.
- Certification such as CCNA / CompTIA Network+ / OEM-specific (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.) would be an added advantage.
