AV Solutions Sales Engineer

We are looking for a confident and technically sound AV Solutions Sales Engineer to represent our organization with multinational and corporate clients. This role combines Audio-Visual technical expertise with sales and client-facing skills, requiring excellent English communication and the ability to present, propose, and close AV solutions for enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with CXOs, IT teams, and procurement stakeholders while translating business requirements into effective AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Represent the company professionally with MNC and corporate clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads in enterprise and commercial segments
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and AV solution demonstrations
  • Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate AV solutions
  • Prepare and present BOQs, quotations, and commercial proposals
  • Negotiate pricing and close deals in coordination with management

Technical (AV) Support & Pre-Sales

  • Possess strong knowledge of audio, video, conferencing, display, and control systems
  • Support pre-sales activities including site surveys and solution design assistance
  • Coordinate with engineering and project teams during implementation
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to project/operations teams

Marketing & Partner Engagement

  • Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, corporate events, and product demos
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and system integrators
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging AV technologies

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of AV technologies (VC systems, displays, audio, control systems)
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) – mandatory
  • Confident, presentable, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to engage with CXOs, IT managers, and procurement teams
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in AV sales, technical sales, or AV system integration
  • Prior experience handling corporate or MNC clients is highly preferred

Education & Certifications

  • Graduate / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related field
  • AV certifications (Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Poly, etc.) will be an added advantage

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹4,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum
  • Incentives: Performance-based sales incentives and commissions
